Electrical Information
The entire car was wired by Devin (w/ Don's help) and many nice touches were added. Almost all cannot be seen as the we worked hard to hide as much as possible! More details will follow as time allows.
Custom made battery box (by Don) in Right Rear side of the car near the Tailgate. You can also see the details from underneth the car. The battery cables run out of the box and inside the frame rails and then they are hidden on top of the frame where they come out just below the fire wall. See the FRAME page for more details.
WIRING & INSTRUMENTS
Instrument cluster LEDS & 3rd Brake Light: Ron Francis Wire Works
Fan relays, circuit breakers & wiring: GM waterproof relays, 30amp circuit breakers, custom wired to include two dash LEDS to indicate each fan’s operation (controlled by separate temperature switches) and mounted below radiator and covered by custom made cover w/ bulkhead fan connector (see COOLING page)
Master battery switch - Used a switch rated at 1000 amp surge w/ key
Door Courtesy lights - GM Suburban
Stereo & Speakers: Sony CDX-MP40 (plays MP3 discs) 23.2 watts RMS/52 peak x 4 chan, Front Door Speakers, Infinity Kappa 63.5i 6-1/2" 3-way, Rear Seat side panel, Infinity Reference Series 9603i, 6"x9" 3-way, Bought from AMERICAN, GREAT selection, Better than all the rest! (Best Buy etc.)
